Chief Creative Officer
Over 30 years experience as a Creative Director overseeing all phases of brand identity design and implementation. Expert in assessing, developing, and implementing visual identification systems that help companies build high performance brands. Michael has managed projects ranging from corporate identity and system applications for Coty, IBM and Mortorola to print design, packaging and in-store marketing for Isabella Rossellini’s Manifesto, Apple, London Fog, and Coca-Cola. Michael holds a BFA in Graphic Design and a BA in Painting from Western Michigan University. He received design awards from AIGA and the Art Directors’ Club. His paintings have been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Detroit. Michael has held faculty appointments at the Ecole International in Geneva and California College of Art. He previously worked for Lippincott & Marguiles, Landor Associates and Citicorp Communications Design. He was a principal with Coleman Souter, Creative Director/Partner of Storm Design, and Creative Director, Future Brand, luxury brands division.
